| Bio: |  I’ll start with the basics: I am Indo-Carribean. I’m originally from London, England. I spent the first 18 years of my life in London and it will always be a special place to me. I grew up without any pets, but there were squirrels, foxes, spiders, snails and wasps that I named and took care of. I'm one of two offspring. My brother is ten years older than I am, but we're closer than any other brother-sister duo I've ever known. My heritage is East Indian, and the last few generations of my family are from Trinidad in the Caribbean. I did not enter any relationships until the age of 14, and very proud of it. I wanted to take my time, and have it be special when I did finally have all of my firsts. In 2000 I went online and happened to meet a guy from Canada called Justin. At the time we were both fourteen years old. Less than a year later we became a couple (a couple of what is still to be decided) and talked online and on the phone for hours. We were 4500 kilometers away from each other. Almost four years later (2003) I flew out to Calgary, Canada to meet him. We spent a month together and I got to know his family a lot better. A year later (2004) I moved to Canada to attend the University of Calgary thus ending our long distance relationship – kinda. Justin actually attended the King’s University College in Edmonton, so we were still separated by 300 kilometers. Just under a year later (2005), Justin proposed on Canada Day at Calgary International Airport just as I was arriving from spending six weeks in London with my family and friends. He was dressed in knightly armour, with security clearing a path for me to walk to him. We later found out that it was broadcasted on the evening news as a point of interest. *giggle* On July 1st 2006, Justin and I were married. My family, four of my best friends (Mez: Loved then, loved now, loved forever), and friends of the family from England attended the wedding, and Justin’s family from in and around Calgary and Canada were also in attendance. After we wed, Justin and I moved to Edmonton, Alberta, so that I could finish my Sociology BA. I graduated with Honours in May 2008 from the King's University College after a very trying period in my life. I was picked up by my favourite professor to be a research assistant, and have had the opportunity to publish in various Sociological Journals. Justin now owns his own business, and is able to change the disparity between the rich in the poor in Canadian society. In July 2008, we will be leaving the city of Edmonton to move closer to family and continue the exponential growth of our business when we move back to Calgary, where we hope to start our own family in the coming years.
